[Awwww yeah, sleepover time. Getting through the porter to Maurtia Falls had taken a while, but it was worth it. Utena's already dressed in the oversized t-shirt she's using for summer pajamas, and as she settles onto the floor she notices something on the shelves]
[Tina's super excited to be having a sleepover. Like, really, REALLY excited, and she hopes everything is perfect, because she's not used to having friends close enough to invite over, sad as it was. Her siblings were her best friends and the people she spent the most time around, so it wasn't like she lacked for company back home, but here she didn't have them.
So she's dressed in her new pajamas- with galloping horses all over them, of course- and she has plenty of junk food ready and a nice place for Utena to sleep, and so of course, the notebooks had to be the first thing she asked about.
But Tina's never one to shy away from being honest, and so-]
A lot of them are empty, but I write my fanfiction in notebooks. I can afford a computer now and everything, but it's how I'm used to doing it back home.
I can only speak for myself, but it's a nice fantasy
i like to write about me and my siblings and my friends going on adventures and me getting together with jimmy junior because it's fun to use my imagination
You are invited for an evening's worth of Christmas and Life Day festivities. Feel free to bring food, but we promise that there will be plenty. Looking forward to seeing you there!
Nonah 005 December 24 RSVP to Poe Dameron, Finn, or Beth Greene
[in Tina's mailbox, is a somewhat belated christmas card. it reads, simply, Hey Tina. :) Have a good one. From, Magnus Chase. also enclosed is $100. roll in that green!]
[ Magnus has, naturally, been worried about Tina. Her mom's gone, and now so is Merle. And Taako. And Lucretia. Which is a goddamn shame, both because Magnus misses the new family he'd made (and really, he doesn't want to have to make a third; he got lucky enough with a second) and because he's pretty sure that he needed their help to take care of the kids. He was never destined to be a father, let alone a Cool Uncle, and now he's got two kids to look after.
So he does his best. He makes sure that things are clean, that there are groceries in the house and that everything they need is paid for. He tries to talk to them. Hell, he even went to Tina's guidance counselor to try to beg for help without making it seem like they should be calling child services on him (he's pretty sure it was a near thing), but that's really all he can do.
Which means that he's here, doing what he does, which is trying to at least be there. He knocks on Tina's door and, upon getting the go-ahead, walks in to sit on her bed beside her. ]
Heya, Tin-o. I haven't got work today, so I was thinking the two of us could go on a little trip. What do you say we take a spin 'round Heropa?
[Tina's writing in her diary when the knock comes; when Magnus enters, she lays it flat on her lap, stretches, and looks at him. Part of her wants to flatly refuse, the part of her that wants to just lay in bed and sleep, the part that wants to keep compulsively checking to make sure "Linda Belcher" is still in the imPort directory, but she stops that line of thought cold.
Magnus is trying his best, he's taking care of her and Ango, and he's one of the last people on earth she should be a brat to at this moment. She gives a tiny smile- tiny, but genuine.]
Okay. Did you have anything in particular in mind?
hey T, just wanted to invite you & yours to a holiday party figured I'd also ask if you'd bake some cookies for it if you had free time. odin & i'll cover costs & reimburse you for your time. lmk! feel free to get festively creative with it too, if you're down.
[ Happy Candlenights! Tina will receive small, handcarved figurines of herself, Linda, Angus, Taako, Merle, Magnus, and two familiar little doggy faces. It's a home away from home! ]
Hey, Tina! I just wanted to call and let you know that I've moved in with my boyfriend Tohru. He's not too far from where I used to live, but all packages and letters should be sent here.
Between November 12th and the 18th, your character will have a range of unusual experiences. Having not sacrificed at the Duel of Fates, that at least won't be something they have to contend with.
In addition to other strange moments, your character finds themself dwelling on a specific set of numbers. This might occur in unexpected moments or manifestations. They might merely daydream about these digits, or accidentally sign a signature line with the string, or spontaneously enumerate them out loud during a conversation. And of course, they might realize they just distractedly posted the sequence straight to the network. The numbers are always in the same order.
7 7 6 7 4
(As an OOC reminder, please do not pursue the meaning of numerical codes before they are shared in-character!)
[On her doorstep, Tina will find a wrapped package addressed to her. Inside she will find a cheerful Christmas card signed by Jane, along with some homemade cookies. Instead of just the typical chocolate chip cookies, there will also be white chocolate chip and butterscotch chip. She hopes Tina will like the variety and hopes they don't taste bad (it's such a slight variance that Jane's tendency to ruin any other dish shouldn't apply).]
