Maybe I do need to try moving my arms as I run.

Don't worry about it, kid! Runnin' ability doesn't make ya any less of a strong, independent woman! C'mon, what sorta fish were you thinkin'? From what I can tell, the Bettas might not be a good idea for a beginning. Real divas. Remind me of tiny little Milotics.

[Tina blushes a little at that, but she stands up straight, tapping her chin.]

I don't know much about fish, I admit- but I have heard bettas can be nasty. They like to fight. Hmm... I want something colorful.

[h2no]

Aye-- right, colourful ones tend to be tropical, so you want the... fresh water ones.

[he taps his chin for a moment, then points towards the appropriate section.]

There! How big do ya want the tank?

[continuousgroaning]

[And Tina's about to smush her face on the glass of a tank before a glance from a store employee reminds her to mind her manners.]

A small-ish one, I think. Something I can keep in my bedroom, since Magnus has dogs. Not that I think they'd hurt the fish, but I'd rather they just be safe in my bedroom.

Aw, shit! Mags is your roomie? Ha! That's amazing!

[if tina can't tell, they are good friends.]

For sure! What about them zebrafish?

[continuousgroaning]

I like him a lot! He lets me watch wrestling practice.

[Spandex-clad butts, aww yeah. But she's distracted from that thought as she peers at said zebrafish, nodding approval.]

Whoa, zebrafish is an apt name. And they'd look good with some neon rocks and maybe one of those plastic treasure chests...

[by the time tina has mentioned the treasure chest, however, archie is moving away from the fish area. something has caught his easily grabbed attention.]

You just have a look around-- I'll-- I'll be right back.

[continuousgroaning]

[Tina turns to look at Archie, but luckily her attention is held by the fish. She misses being home and so near the ocean, she thinks.]

Okay! Hmm... If only there were miniature whales I could keep in a fish tank... that would be the best...

[h2no]

[he'll be gone for a good half hour, leaving tina to probably thoroughly choose which exact fish and tank decorations she wants.

he pads back over, his face wearing the look of a man that's just made a decision and is slowly realising it was a very stupid decision. archie is now holding a little carrier with two squeaking rabbits inside.]

Uhh...

[continuousgroaning]

[Tina glances over at Archie when she sees him approach, then does a double take, her eyes widening.]

Rabbits?

[is this possibly the first time tina has ever been on the receiving end?]

Uhhhhhh...

[continuousgroaning]

But they're cute! Are you getting them for yourself?

[he points at the big one at the front.]

This one is Rabert, [then at the smaller one at the back.] an' this is Buntimus...

[HE SOUNDS SO SHEEPISH]

[continuousgroaning]

[Tina goes up and gives him a playful nudge.]

Those are good names. Buntimus makes him sound like he's... like he's an emperor of rabbits.

He's very big!

[he laughs, seemingly brought back by the nudge.]

Have you picked the fish?

[continuousgroaning]

Emperor Buntimus the Great. The first of a long dynasty.

[She nods.]

Think I'm gonna go with the zebrafish for now.

[h2no]

Good choice! Ya know, if anyone ever shows up with an Alolamola or somethin' I'll point them your way.

[he shifts his Buns into one hand (oo the strength), padding over to look at the fish tanks.]

Ya wanna choose their pad?

[continuousgroaning]

Oh, is that a Pokemon? I like that name. Alolamola. It's like a tongue twister.

[Tina's expression then turns serious.]

It's got to be stylish. And like I said, gotta be colorful. [She begins drifting toward the fish supplies.] You could dress the rabbits in outfits, you know.

Yeah! They're bright pink... like Sunfish here. Though they might be called Alomomola... I don't remember.

[pretty bad, because he does actually have one.]

Look at the rainbow castle there! [excited pointing!!] An'... maybe when it gets cold. Though I was gonna let 'em in the house if the weather was too bad.

[continuousgroaning]

I could have a whole team of fish and horses. That would be my dream Pokemon team....

[She suddenly giggles at the image that pops into her head-]

They can have little coats with hoods on them that have earholes. And mittens for their paws.

[h2no]

If anyone shows up with a Rapidash, I'll hook ya up.

[a pause, then:]

Actually, ya could go and see Blue about his Arcanine. It's not a horse, but a dog big enough ya can ride it like one! He's about four times the size of Mightyena!

[continuousgroaning]

Whoa... ... can I come and live in your world? I mean, I know you can't exactly do that but I'd go visit there if I could. Pokemon are so amazing.

[h2no]

Absolutely not! Ya gotta go back to your family! ...Unless you wanna bring them with. I reckon your dad would like Sewaddle, though. I hear they help cultivate the best greenery.

[they're lovely and he wants 40. like all pokémon.]

It would be the best vacation ever. And that would be good for Dad. He likes to grow vegetables, we just never had a good place to do it in, being in the middle of a city and all. There is a community garden near us, but the lady who runs it refuses to give him a plot.
